Operation: Destination Restaurant; Luxury 5* Boutique Hotel
Location: Central London
Salary: £11.00 to £13.00 phr
Working Hrs: 40 hrs per week / 5 nights (8:00 pm to 3:00 am)

This luxury 5* Boutique Hotel & Destination Restaurant with Cocktail Lounge, Private and Al Fresco dining attracts an A list crowd, gaining an unrivalled reputation since launch with ongoing Press and Media interest.
Acclaimed, innovative Michelin star Executive Chef with brigade of 50 chefs; high spec open kitchen with breakfast / brunch, lunch & dinner menus showcasing ingredients-focused cooking (bold, contemporary, healthy & seasonal) – sourcing from premium growers and producers.
Food style: innovative, modern European with International accents at 3 AA rosette level
Approx. 400 to 600 covers per day (250 for dinner) & ongoing exclusive hire & private parties
Aim: to introduce a pizzeria offering authentic Roman-styled pizza for residents and guests from 8:00 pm to 3:00 am.
Menu: rotating range of 5 to 6 pizza choices – thin-based, flash cooked in rustic style

ROLE DESCRIPTION
Taking charge of the pizza station with use of state-of-the-art pizza oven – working alone to begin with – building the team as pizza sales rise
Pizza menu: chance to develop your own ideas / freedom to be creative; collaborating with the Head and Sous chef accordingly – recipe specs and costings (training provided)
Daily operations: responsible for maintaining a clean and ordered work area; stock control and ordering for section; maintaining up-to-date HACCP and temp check files; daily cleaning and close down duties
Own Professional Development – modern techniques, kitchen management, inventory & people management.

Seeking a passionate, proactive, senior Pizza chef with creative flair and knowledge of current Pizza trends and techniques.
Essential: good all-round skill set and initiative – ability to take ownership, demonstrating good organisation and communication skills and attention to detail.
Passion to cook & learn – ambition and drive.

SALARY & BENEFITS
Start rate: £11.00 to £13.00 per hour (regular performance / sales-based reviews)
Shift pattern: contracted to work 5 nights (incl. weekends) from 8:00 pm to 3:00 am – total of 40 hrs (incl. standard breaks)
Permanent full time contract subject to standard 3 months probationary period
