Salary: £11.00 to £11.50 phr to start (£9.50 plus tronc phr)
Working Hrs: 7 Shifts over 5 Days (45 – 48 hrs)

COMPANY INFO
This stunning City 3-floor independent (2 AA rosette level) attracts a loyal City crowd all year round, receiving ongoing media and press high-praise since opening.
Operation: ground-floor gastro (wood-panelled bar & period features) / monthly changing modern British (1 AA rosette); first floor open & airy dining room with weekly changing produce-driven menu (seasonal 2 AA rosette Brit-Euro-Med); terrace and open-air grill plus open kitchen – sourcing from small suppliers, farm and estate producers – championing ethical practises and values – focus on quality (and value), overall guest experience.
Menus: robust flavours, good technical elements and quirky touches, great flavours and presentation (all made in-house from scratch) supported by a rotating range of cask craft ales, natural wines and house botanical cocktails.
7 day operation – busy for lunch and dinner throughout the week / year….popular for private parties with additional (various) food and wine workshops and events scheduled season to season. Pic-nic hampers on offer / popular during summer months. Informed, relaxed service style – welcoming home-from-home vibe.
Service: 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm lunch (Tues to Sun); 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm dinner (Mon to Sat)

ROLE DESCRIPTION
Working within a FOH team of 15; supporting the General Manager & FOH-BAR management teams with daily FOH operations –
Duties incl. reservations and table plans; pre-service set up checks; supporting the team on the floor during service (designated sections); guest interaction and overall customer service – responding effectively to guest queries, requests and complaints; closing bills; post-shift clear down; cashier, float and banking procedures; ordering for FOH; opening and closing duties; team development; FOH H&S files.

DESIRED ATTRIBUTES
Seeking a seasoned / experienced Waiter-Waitress looking to take a step up in responsibility.
Essential: warm, customer service orientated approach; ability to multi-task, encourage and motivate others; able to train and inspire; good levels of initiative and attention to detail.
Knowledge of cocktails, natural wines and craft beers – advantageous (orientation and training from appointment onward)

SALARY & BENEFITS
Starting on: £9.50 + variable service charge phr (£11.00 to £11.50+ phr)
Est. package: £25,750 to £28,750 pa
Approx. 45 to 48 hrs per week (7 shifts / 5 days)
Permanent full-time contract subject to standard 3 months probationary period incl. regular performance related salary reviews; ongoing in-house development; courses as required; workplace pension option; 28 days paid annual leave; movement and progression within this famed independent (expanding) group; FAM trips; staff discounts; meals on duty
