POSITION: Pub General Manager
OPERATION: Wet-led Independent
LOCATION: Central London (zone 1)
PACKAGE: £24,000 pa plus free accommodation (spacious 2-bed flat)
WORKING HRS: 5 Days (50 hrs)

COMPANY INFO
New launch neighbourhood pub independent (following extensive refurbishment) located in the heart of central London – wet-led pub offering craft beers, cocktails and wine along with a short seasonal small / sharing plate menu (all fresh with produce sourced from top suppliers).
7 day operation – also catering for venue hire and private parties.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
All managerial aspects of the operation; ensuring the smooth running of the day-to-day business; ensuring highest standards, optimal team performance and unrivalled levels of customer service (guest experience) on consistent basis (home-from-home service style)
Team hiring and development; personnel & HR; rostering & payroll
Stock management incl. purchasing, supplier accounts & relations, invoices, stock audits, etc
Back Office: admin; forecasting; sales and cost reporting (sales / GP & labour costs); budgets, P&L, banking; meeting targets and deadlines accordingly
Full compliance and maintenance of building; local authority relations; EHO liaison
Local marketing strategies & promotion of business

DESIRED ATTRIBUTES
This role would suit a Manager who is passionate about service, food and people.
A standards orientated, organised Manager who loves to be on the floor and has great attention to detail. Ideally someone with a track record of building ties within the local community.
Essential: strong people skills and personality coupled with big initiative & drive.

SALARY & BENEFITS
Offering to start: £24,000 salary pa plus annual KPI-performance related bonus 
Package includes free-use of spacious 2 bedroom flat (upstairs)
Permanent full-time contract subject to standard 6-month probationary period incl. regular performance related salary reviews; courses as required; workplace pension option; 28 days paid annual leave; FAM trips; staff discounts; meals on duty
Approx. 50 hrs p wk / 5 days
August / September start available
