Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 pa & Bonus
Working Hrs: 5 Days (50 – 55 Hrs per week)

Grade II Country Inn & acclaimed Restaurant with Garden situated in a picturesque village of Berkshire is a firm favourite with locals, receiving rave reviews for food and service since launch.
Offering 2 AA Rosette seasonal British dining with emphasis on local sourcing, menus are produce driven demonstrating a wide range of cooking techniques, supported by award winning wines & ales.
Busy throughout the week, covers peak at weekends, with up to 100 covers on Sat. night and up to 150 for Sunday lunch.

Role Description                                                                                                                                  
Working closely with Head chef and supported by the Operations team, responsibilities incl.:

Overall management of the restaurant and bar, daily organisation and supervision of FOH team – greeting guests / supporting service
Stock management: purchasing, suppliers, admin & accounts, COS reporting, budgeting
Team: hiring, training & development (support from group HR dept.), rostering, payroll, personnel records
Office & admin: sales and cost reporting, forecasting, budgeting, Profit and Loss
Local authority liaison, due diligence practice and compliance files, maintenance of property and equipment
Local marketing & business development

Desired Attributes
This role requires a passionate, standards-orientated Manager with great people skills and personality coupled with good initiative and an all-round skill set.
Essential: experience of managing a comparable quality operation; hands on management approach; attention to detail with natural ability to build rapport and long term relationships with guests and team alike.

Salary & Benefits
£45,000 to £55,000 pa & KPI related bonus
Permanent contract subject to standard 6 months probationary period including private health care and workplace pension option + courses as required + opportunity to move and progress within this independent group
Approx. 50 to 55 hrs per week (7to 8 shifts / 5 days)
New Year / January start available
