Operation: Destination Persian Restaurant Bar (Open kitchen)
Location: West End
Salary: £27,000 – £29,000+ pa
Working Hrs: 5 Days / 6 shifts / 48 to 50 hrs pwk

COMPANY INFO
Stylish West End destination Persian restaurant bar kitchen independent offering authentic Persian dishes along with modern takes inspired by classic recipes.
State of the art, brand new open kitchen with counter with additional basement prep kitchen; 75 covers plus upstairs private dining room; open plan setting; vibrant Middle Eastern design.
Food: modern, innovative cooking inspired by the Persian Gulf (flavour-profile focus) with commitment to sourcing the very best ingredients from artisan UK and International suppliers; all made in house on a daily basis; menu input in collaboration with Owners and Head chef (ideas encouraged).
7 day operation: open early to late with busy pre-theatre trade.
Overall (kitchen / FOH) team of 35+

ROLE
Working closely with the Head & Sous chef team – responsibilities include:
Menu development – encouraging ideas and input
Working alongside the Head & Sous chefs supporting them with the daily smooth running of the kitchen; rotating on sections; assisting with plating and the pass ensuring the highest standards upheld on a consistent basis
Assisting with stock management & ordering; wastage / kitchen cost control; daily compliance files and procedures; training new recruits

This role would suit a creative chef looking for good involvement in menu planning and for personal development re: daily operations / kitchen management / BOH procedures.

SALARY & BENEFITS
Start package: £27,000 to £29,000+ pa plus paid overtime (same rate)
Total of £24,000 to £25,000 basic plus variable tronc pa (paid monthly)
Approx. 48 – 50 hrs p wk / 6 shifts over 5 days
Permanent full-time contract subject to standard 3 months probationary period incl. regular performance related salary reviews; ongoing in-house development; courses as required; workplace pension option; 28 days paid annual leave; movement and progression (new openings planned); FAM trips; team excursions; staff discounts; meals on duty & laundered uniform
Immediate Start (able to accommodate notice)
