Public Health England (PHE) publishes new Catering Guide – 20.02.2014

Updated guidance for Catering has now been issued by Public Health England (PHE), on “how to make catering affordable, healthier and more sustainable”.

An operationally autonomous agency to the Department of Health, the PHE guide, prepared by Dr Louis Levy, Melanie Farron-Wilson, Jessica Mitchell & Shaleen Meelu, offers practical advice and guidance on diet and health, key nutrition principles, promoting healthier menus which include less sugar, saturated fat and salt.
